Please turn in all items and procurement forms to the Farmhouse no later than Friday, Jan. 6. This is the week we come back from Winter Break, so don't forget to ask your favorite restaurants, stores and hotels for donations when you visit them during the holidays.
Every OWS family is required by contract to procure $700 worth of goods or services for the auction. Since this is a contractual obligation, your personal donations (up to $700) are not tax-deductible. It can be confusing for new parents, so please contact us if you have any questions.
Cash donations are definitely okay! It's much better for the school for you to donate cash rather than go out and buy things. We normally sell items in the silent auctions for less than the stated value. Please check with us on ways to maximize your dollars if you do want to make a purchase.
